Why not again?? 2 weeks until the 1st official ranking.

here's my top 15 based on the (it's close to the real thing) RPI. Yes, I know RPI is not used outside of Division 1, but what the heck....

Not that it makes much of a difference, but I can't wait for the "official" rankings to come out!

I'd say its going to be close between Utica, Bowdoin and Norwich for no. 1 in the east if the rankings came out now. I think Utica might have it though. Two of their losses came to teams that aren't going to be NCAA ranked. So that happens them

2. Bowdoin
3. Norwich
4. Oswego

What makes you put Utica over Norwich & Bowdoin? They have better records than Utica.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess its because of the strength of schedule... I don't know though, it could be he just likes their sweaters.

Alright *******, I was just asking a serious question. I haven't paid much attention too Bowdoin this season so I was curious. Jesus H Christ, is it impossible to ask a question about another team now a days? :mad:

Let's say Plattsburgh beats Geneseo and Oswego. Where does that put Plattsburgh on this ranking? That would give them two more wins vs. ranked and a season sweep of Oswego. I don't think that scenario is pie-in-the-sky as both games are in Plattsburgh with the conference on the line.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if Geneseo aren't ranked by the NCAA then I don't think it would help in that criteria.

But I think they rank the top 15 in the East. Geneseo should be ranked when it's time.

I don't think there's much of a chance that Geneseo is NOT ranked in the top 15 in the East. If they for some reason are not ranked, that would hurt Oswego more (who would have the 2 wins against them taken away). Plattsburgh would only lose 1 provided they win the game at Plattsburgh. Probably a moot point, Genny would have to fall flat and nobody see's that happening.
