That's NOT THE ****ING POINT. Stop with the density. It's the mass killings at one time done by those weapons that we're talking about here. You realize we've had the 3 largest mass shootings in the United States in something like the last year?

Saw some whiney thing the other day claiming a majority of reported "mass school shooting" was bs cause a kid may have pulled a truffer of a guard one day, or shots were fired blocks away and hit a wall.

Crazy how things try to get excused away...

Republicans are very quickly now removing themselves from civilization. Soon they will have no other option but 2nd Amendment remedy because everything will have to be taken away from them because of their all or nothing attitude towards guns, gays, God, and taxes. A party in a two party system that becomes entirely a "no compromise" institution and offers no reasoned response to the valid protests of women and High School students DESERVES no time in the public square. They are a waste of oxygen and need to be treated as such.

Or they are called F.B.I. plants, defending the bureau for its failure to catch the shooter. They have been portrayed as puppets being coached and manipulated by the Democratic Party, gun control activists, the so-called antifa movement and the left-wing billionaire George Soros.

The theories are far-fetched. But they are finding a broad and prominent audience online. On Tuesday, the president’s son Donald J. Trump Jr. liked a pair of tweets that accused David Hogg, a 17-year-old who is among the most outspoken of the Parkland students, of criticizing the Trump administration in an effort to protect his father, whom Mr. Hogg has described as a retired F.B.I. agent.

A couple thoughts about arming teachers…

What happens when an unruly student accuses a teacher of making a threatening gesture with the gun? Could be as subtle as a glance at the gun's location.

What happens when a teacher gets frustrated enough that he actually does it?

What happens when a kid or kids think it would be a funny prank to try and take the gun?

What happens when they get it?


Oh yeah… that's right. This can all be handled through extensive training.

So we'll create a new nationwide department within education of teacher firearm training and safety.


Honestly… thinking that what, a million (are there that many?) teachers across the country in various school settings could handle this or should is just…

Idiotic beyond belief.

Are we trying to solve the right problem? If the kid came in with other guns and killed say five people would we be happy? I certainly wouldn’t be. We should be focused on preventing these events not damage limitation.

Every gun law we have is damage mitigation. Our entire HISTORY is murder. You going to prevent that now? Don't be stupid. Please. Use your brain.

Which is better, 5 dead or 17 dead? Look, with 350 million+ guns on the streets already we will Never stop all mass shootings. The LEAST we can do is try to minimize the damage they will do. We can certainly focus on prevention as well but can we at least try to mitigate the damage for now? Prevention is years and years away.
