My 7th grade math teacher once threw a large foam rock at one of my classmates who was acting up. Best part was his mom gave it to her expressly for that purpose.

I actually prefer the old-school beacon. That, plus marked cars, make them that much easier to spot in speed traps.

For the cars to be ID'd (at least in MN), look at the hubcaps, and the lights in the bottom corners of the rear window. And the bumper guard on the front. Or the general plain-ness of the car (color, no stickers of any kind, basically TRYING to blend in). That's for UC's. Obviously reg cop cars are very identifiable.

Holy sh-t, they must have instructional league for that because exactly the same thing happened to me in CCD. You're not going to believe this but during catechism I was a bit of a smartas-s.
Anyway, that sharp "snap" sound stays with me to this day. There is nothing like it. There's even a faint, high-pitched hum like a bullet.
