The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The have so much talent, it is likely they will start putting something together in the New Year. The problem is that they have given up so much mathematically, its going to be hard to recover. (I'm an NU guy, but have always appreciated watching BU play). The weekend series was basically a...
He had a previous injury, and if was a hit in the upper body, guessing he had some requirement to be looked at by the doc before continuing to play. Probably was worried he was going to be put on the shelf again.
The officials always seem to be looking the other way for ….ahem….certain schools that are within a Comm Ave train ride of NU. Making calls similar to that puts a stop to it
Yes, the NU coaches challenged this. But the HEA "officials" :sick:somehow missed it AGAIN looking at from 27 different angles and a few spy balloons..........the proverbial "fix is in".
With regard to the too many men, the entire coaching staff, and at least 200 of us in the stands were...
Not to pile on, but BU first goal was offside. And the top notch HEA officials blew chunks on this "re-view".
And the second goal BU had 6 men on the ice, HEA geniuses missed that one too. I will come back and post the offside screen shot from the feed in the next post.
No Perkins either. Assuming all three not available tomorrow. Z was not on the bench. Gutcheck win. Officiating was an absolute Greek tragedy.
When the eff are the observing officials going to put a stop to this?
"Gents, maybe the next game you should probably call that. Its okay you cost...
First one is a public news article with the announcement. Second one is the city of Boston site officially showing the status changed to "approved".

Watching this game had me replaying the UConn 4-1 victory over NU in the HEA semis at the Garden. We had the best goalie (Levi) in the country, and made it as difficult as possible on him. We got pushed around like a high school team from the mid second period on, every time NU had the puck they...
Thoughts: I hope they win ugly again tonight, the pollsters lose all respect for them after a 2-0 weekend, and they slide down in the polls. They will be top 4 ish in the NPI, (the only number that matters), and top 8 in the defunct PWR, so we can in fact see how skewed the polls are toward who...
Polls are out.............NU at #14
https://www.uscho.com/rankings/d-i-mens-poll
BU at 3-5-1 still in at #12
BC at 2-4-1 still in at #18
PC after splitting with UML gained a spot to #15.
The problem with the poll, and why it is basically a bunch of crap, is that the preseason pollsters assign an imaginary wish list of teams they desperately want to cover. Its based on rosters, coaches, and "pedigree" (national championships in 1960, legendary coach, etc). There are exceptions...
.......your problem is goaltending, not the team, and not the coach. BC has more talent than anyone, and Brown didn't get stupid overnight. Go get a stud goaltender and you'll be fine. (You just can't have Zacher!..........🤣 )
Stripes did their best to keep BC in it, but what a great bit of penalty killing and great goaltending (again) for the hounds. Fun to see lot of empty maroon seats with 8 minutes left, you could almost feel that BC was not getting back into this one. A fun night, let's see what tomorrow brings.
Stumbled across an interview with David Carle from Sept 2024. Sounds like Denver will be back here in the fall of 2027. The deal was: NU out there for two in 2024. Here against BC and NU this year. BC out there for two next fall. And then Denver back here for another BC/NU weekend in early...
I was at the game in St Paul last night (NU fan, objective perspective). I thought the same, a little hometown refereeing early in the game. St Thomas was better than i thought they would be for most of the game. Their goalie made a couple of ridiculous saves in the 2nd and 3rd, or PC wins this...
