Imagine if that dude talked of Christianity in Arabic. And yes, there are native Arabic speaking Christians- I shared an office with one.

The line between "terrorist" and "evangelist" is pretty thin.

Jesus, much like my dad, said he was going for cigarettes several years ago. Neither of them have returned.
 
I moved to the sticks in May.

I found the Episcopalians nearby, and I've been hanging out with them. I don't feel pressured by them; there's no rock concert, no key changes in the music, and the homily is more of a conversation than shouting and screaming.

And as a visible queer in MAGA country, I'm grateful to have a place of respite.

My wide received an email last night from a friend with a link to an article. They have a mutual friend whose husband made the news (I’m not linking this). Their friend and her husband are staying with another friend while doing some Catholic missionary work.

Their friend was just arrested for “penetrating a minor.” The child is nine years old.

True Catholic love?
