6 hours until we find out if there's a giant turd ready to drop into the SPCX punchbowl.

I have no idea but I don't think it will start out as a freefall. It would be funny, but if nothing else the huge guys who want to unwind slowly probably have clever ways to make it a ratchet and have strategic countervailing buys.

reddit is uniformally bearish which surprises me. I figured that's the one place we'd see unhinged blather trying to pump.

Well, rural Minnesota is getting a privately run prison opened back up. 5 years, $75 million a year contract with DHS to hold pending deportees.....

It is funny, our local State MAGAt legislator touted this opening as a great economic boom for the area, and his quote: "a secure facility closer to where people have lived provides a better arrangement and due process."

Hmmm, yeah, I guess we are going to round up all the immigrant farm workers in West Central MN and house them here. And, just how many Immigration Lawyers and Judges reside in Appleton to for due process?

UPDATE: It was just announced that the Federal Gov't has bought the prison from CoreCivic for $500 million. Well, that takes it off the property tax rolls......
