NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

I went to a Leafs @ Habs game several years back prepared for the worst and I didn't find the home crowd insufferable. However it wasn't a playoff game and the Habs weren't very good at the time.
 
Wings blow another one. Give up the game tying goal with 17 seconds left and lose the shootout. The February collapse was postponed to March for the Olympics. Let’s see if we get the patented too late win streak to end the year here they’ve made popular the last few years. Even if they win out they still need Ottawa to only take 4/8.

Based on Larkin’s post game interview, they loose out.

So we see the team lead the league, and then collapse into this. Pathetic.

Maybe Stevie is getting too much credit for how the lightning were built.

Definitely. Plus they are less insufferable than Leaf fans because they are saying the things in French.

Need to burn it all down. I didn't think I could still be this frustrated with the Wings after the last decade but they somehow built up hope this year

I would love to see them play. That is the one true NHL match up. Then Montreal-Boston.

I ended up seated next to some mid-level NBA suit who was in from New York for the weekend. We were the only two people in the section speaking English. It was a weird night, other than Matthews getting an early season hat trick and Price looking like an overrated sieve.
