I’m going to see Rush in July and can’t wait!!

In Red Wing, MN today and shopped at Vintage Vinyl.

I had to control my spending or I’d have blown several hundred dollars.

They had Dylan’s “Love and Theft” for $60. Hard to believe his 90’s output hasn’t been properly reissued.

Picked up Wilco’s “Summer Teeth” reissue and then an LP from a band I rarely think about anymore: Flaming Lips…

The clerk was playing “Clouds Taste Metallic” and I had to buy it. I forgot how great that album was/is!
 
Dr. Mrs. was playing "Wonderwall" in the shower this morning and it occurred to me that it is the Millenials' joke on the other generations. None of them ever liked it, they got together and collectively pretended just to prank us.

I can speak for Generation Jones. For our prank song I nominate "We Built this City." For our band, The Eagles in their entirety.

What are your nominations for your generation's prank song and band?

Oasis was always a prank. The Beatles for the handheld gaming generation. Recall all the peachfuzzed 7th grade boys with an acoustic guitar and every girl demanding he play Wonderwall.
 
Hunting about, I did see a better nominee for Gen Jones and I am changing my vote.

FYI that has nothing to do with Post Malone - I couldn't pick a song of his out of a lineup.
