Wisconsin Hockey 25-26 Hastings Year 3 - Turning the Corner?

Agree with all of this. It’s Gadowsky’s coaching. They’ve played like this since going D1 as I recall the very first
Time they played at the KC.

Having said that, I do envy how crazy their crowd gets. It looks and sounds close to the old Dane County Colesium crowds. At least on tv it does.
Give me a near full Kohl Center every time.

I was going to post the same thing. At first, it's a natural reaction when something is coming at your head, but I was a baseball catcher for over a decade and you eventually learn to trust your mask and stay on it.
I also grew up all the way through high school as a catcher. I couldn't even guess how many times I've been hit in the mask by a bad pitch, foul ball and bats.

I can't see why wanting Mark Johnson for their head coach of their fledgling hockey program would be held against PSU.

Plenty of other reasons to hate them, but that's not one. Can't blame them for wanting him and trying. That's business.

The covering of child rape is the only reason I need and then their fans still supporting JoPa when he knew about it and covered it up.

I always root against them now other than the volleyball team two years ago when their coach was battling cancer.
I get that it is just business. But, there are some names that are probably not the best ones to simply throw a pile of cash at. Johnson is one of those.

He would rather coach the women's team at WI than the men's team at Penn St. I think that says a lot about where his loyalties lie. He is Wisconsin through and through.

He will never leave Wisconsin. Next move retirement.

Can the Badgers break the curse of OSU and the playoffs? I don't know, but I will be there to watch. I was ready to give up at the end of January after getting swept at Minnesota, but Morrissey and Zelenov returning has certainly settled things down and improvement came quickly.

I don't look at the numbers much or at least not enough to understand the ramifications of tonight's game.

Beyond winning coz they're keeping score - always want to win of course.

Is tonight a must win for making the tourney?

Per Milewski in WSJ, they are likely 99% in even with loss tonight. But let's not tempt fate and get it done tonight!

Absolutely.

Really sick of tOSU and their shitty/boring style of play.

Fun to have a midweek hockey game. Wish the regular season was more like basketball but understand why it isn't.

That's for home viewing though - won't be there tonight.

For attending, I definitely prefer the Friday/Saturday format.

Saw on twitter that it's a 99% chance of making the tourney as they currently sit. If they win tonight, they should be a lock to make it.

Again with the crouch and getting beat high. He goes down almost reflexively every time they are about to get a shot attempt.

I'd shoot high every single time and I'm sure that's what they're trying to do.

Hauser needs some serious work on his mechanics this offseason.
