Turns out, the file extension is wrong, and changing the PDF to JPG or MOV will allow the file to open.

So... the DOJ just distributed child pornography via their own website.

Do not download that shit, even just out of curiosity or if you immediately delete it. Possession of child porn is illegal by itself. My wife can't even have the stuff related to her client's cases on her state issued work computer; she has to go to the prosecutor's office and view it on their equipment when necessary.

It's also basically a strict liability crime, just like statutory rape. Doesn't matter your intent, whether you viewed it, etc. Just having it may cause you issues.

If the DOJ was less inept, I'd almost think they did it intentionally so they could selectively lock people up for downloading it. But they're so stupid and bad at their jobs that I don't that's the case, but I still won't be shocked if they turn their ineptitude to their advantage once they realize they can.

As an engineer which interest in this project because of its scale and partnership in my home state, this man continues to prove that thr syphilis has rotted his brain. The entire facility and structure is funded by Canada. The main structure was built with joint US and Canadian materials to ease construction of the joint facility (which didn't have to happen because again Canada is paying for the fucking thing). There Canadian checkpoint is built to Canadian specifications, the US checkpoint (IIRC) is built to US federal Buy American standards. The benefit the US gets is that we get yet *another* point of entry into the US to ease trade that this man seems hell bent on destroying six ways from Sunday.

I know, I know, I scream into the void. But it frustrates me when I see fellow engineers suck Trump off for statements like this when projects that continue to provide blue-collar AND white collar jobs are threatened every day by Trump.

I had inspectors and laborers approach the state RE and myself last fall asking with Trump withholding funding if it would mean our project was in jeopardy. I tried to be political and state that some projects like ours either have already had the funding allocated, or were small enough where the state would pay for it and get reimbursed. The state RE nodded, but the nervous eyes told another story.
