If you are talking about evangelical leaders that is easy: they don't believe in the End Times or Revelations or the Bible or gods. They're atheists who found a lucrative con.
If you are talking about evangelical followers that is harder and a lot more depressing: they think they are going to heaven. They have no idea that in all the Gospel stories they're the hypocrites who mistake the map for the territory that Jesus is warning us about.

How are they getting a job with their social security number, and identification and not automatically getting garnished? That should have been setup a long time ago. If it's not we should be working on that instead of this worthless deportation of undocumented 5 year olds.

Because bureaucracy. Switching employers, pay raises, etc., don't flag the courthouse to update their system. Families need to go back to court to update the paperwork. Also, are we 100% positive that every single member of ICE has a clean I-9 form? Again, thats all paperwork that takes time and effort to verify thst DOGE absolutely wrecked.
I can't speak for the US Government, but I assume it's systems are a hodge podge of "they kinda sorta play nice with each other if you force them to" databases. As a highway engineer, I have to juggle three different databases (supplier, approved products, sample testing) to ensure what I put into the state system is actually approved material. And then the state still has their own verifications that can supersede the *state* approved databases I'm using.
Honestly, if DOGE was serious about efficiency, they would have hired a *fuckton* of employees to help streamline these databases. Instead they hired a bunch of "yes, sir" kids to steal data and destroy the government from within.

It's the followers that I struggle with understanding their reasoning. The whole point of the Bible was to do good on Earth, not speed run to the end times.

I am no theologian but taking the entirety of the Bible I would guess there are dozens, if not hundreds, of different philosophical perspectives on what life on earth is for, each reflecting the peculiarities of its provenance. Off the top of my head there is:
1) Obey God because dude he's God. (Romans)
2) Obey God because a son obeys his father. (Ephesians)
3) Obey God because when He gets mad he's a fucking lunatic. (Genesis)
4) Obey all the rules to get into heaven. (Leviticus)
5) Be good to each other to get into heaven. (John)
6) Be good to each other because if you don't you're an asshole. (Mark)
7) Stop and smell the flowers. (Psalms)
8) Dance like nobody's watching. Oh, and also fuck. (Song of Solomon)

The problem is most of the "Christians" skip the books with the red text. Just like their Jewish counterparts who also throw the entire New Testament out. The Mormons also skip the red text books.
