Movies: Poor Things, Barbie and Oppenheimer are stuck in La La Land

I have never heard of the top 8 Bond betting odds leaders.

Edit: I didn't know the name, but I enjoyed Theo James on The White Lotus. I would love to see them go back to an honest to goodness, non-ironic, debonnaire Bond. That is the heart of the character. Repeal the last half century of dullard irony cuddling with mawkish pablum. Repeal the MCU and its erosion of drama and wit in the name of commerce cross-marketed to the lowest common denominator.

He is very hot. And debonnaire

sure, and honey booboo as the bond girl.
Let's check in on her. How's she doing?

Huh. Actually, not badly. She may have actually escaped The Cycle of Stupidity that is the white South. She needs to work on her object choice, but she'll meet a nice lower middle class employed guy in Denver.

Good for her. She survived the most public, prolonged child abuse ordeal I can recall.

The new Supergirl trailer is out. The Snyder fans are not taking it well.

"Superman sees the good in everyone. I see the truth."

I liked the trailer.

I welcome the idea of a broken hero and following her journey as she deals with that throughout the DC slate. Also welcome Krypto being played for laughs.

Definitely something I'm looking forward to in Summer '26.

Read the comic...might be the best version of her origin ever. Her PTSD is off the charts.

The SnyderNuts are a strange bunch. (beyond being crazy) I am not even sure that the Seven Day Adventists are wrong as often as the SnyderCult. First Superman was going to bomb, then the critics were going to hate it, then it was going to underperform, then it was going to be scrapped, then Gunn was going to be fired, then Paramount was going to re-instate the Snyderverse, then Netflix was, not Paramount and Saudis will if they win the war...

Meanwhile Netflix has told Snyder to pound sand on his sequels and films and he is now doing stuff with UFC?

Honestly it is rather scary how deep they are in. I was a pretty vocal defender of his films but these people made me hate him and his works. They sound like Scientologists and NXIVM freaks...and are just as dangerous.

On the topic of the trailer...I enjoyed the heck out of it and I love that comic so I am pumped for it.
