BINGO, the power brokers are cut from essentially the same cloth.Every Democrat under 40 wants to kick over the table. That is where to start.
Absolutely nothing stops any Democrat from standing up and saying my plan is everyone with incomes in the bottom 80% has their taxes cut in half while everyone with incomes in the top 10% has their taxes doubled.
Permanent majority.
Really makes you think why they haven't done that the last 50 years. It's almost as if the power brokers in the Democratic party come from the same class as the GOP's, and scream about social issues 24/7 to distract from them doing nothing on fiscal and monetary.
Gillenbrand had a video circulating on social media begging for money "to fight Trump's Agenda"...probably took it in between votes to approve of his people.Democrats fiddle while Rome burns. Story at 11.
If it were just me I'd already have been in Europe for close to a decade, but I'm taking care of my mother. I had finally convinced her to leave but then Covid came along and shut everything down. We could relocate now but she is in no condition health wise. So here we sit. On the bright side, the actuarial table said I was supposed to be dead several years ago from this brain tumor so I've already surpassed my expiration date.So why are you still here? Why aren’t you fleeing now?
I am sick of getting emails and texts from politicians and Democratic groups begging for money so they can retake Congress and fight back against Trump. I need my money. What I have an abundance of is time. So I respond that for just a monthly donation of $10 I will think really hard about their campaign. For $25 I'll write some letters to the editor for them. My involvement increases as the $ amount increases, up to $2000/month, at which point I'm basically working for them - at a fraction of what they would have to pay a field organizer. Oddly enough, no one has taken me up on my generous offer.Democrats fiddle while Rome burns. Story at 11.

Big news from @bethhawkins.bsky.social: Linda McMahon’s top special education official ran a school for autistic students that restrained 41 percent of its students in the 2021 school year...bsky.app
Ooooooh. How radical. What a marvelous act of protest. FearsomeDemocrats fiddle while Rome burns. Story at 11.
The Dutch and French had women who would seduce the Nazis and then murder them in their sleep. We have this. So, basically the same thing, right?Ooooooh. How radical. What a marvelous act of protest. Fearsome

US reportedly plans to slash bank rules imposed to prevent 2008-style crash. US watchdogs are reportedly planning to slash capital rules for banks designed to prevent another 2008-style crash, as Donald Trump's deregulation drive opens the door to the biggest rollback of post-crisis protections in more than a decade.
During the lead-up to the 2008 crash, in 2007, we saw a huge spike in defaulted car loans and subsequent repossessions. This later tied into the mortgage default crisis because people who overextend on one often overextend on the other. (In for the penny, in for the pound.) During the past 6-9 months, we have seen a large uptick of that same trend.I hate Republicans and I hate rich people. Period.
