BU Hockey '24-'25: Reloaded for another Frozen Four run

Went to St Louis for the final. Had same reaction to “Boston Terriers”. Other school
fans were mostly for WMU. If it wasn’t for the Cardinals games and the FF, I think the town would have been completely vacant. Stayed over near the baseball stadium and that bar complex was nice but sparsely populated.

Was at HE tourney at Garden as well…if WMU played Maine the entire game would be fans screaming for every call.

C Hutson appeared to be trying too hard…both teams seemed to “Belichick” him and make sure our best player didn’t beat them. His brother didn’t appear. Thank god for the grit of Copponi, Hughes and Lachance, thought the team needed to win more 50/50 battles.

Echo the Fan Fest(?) comments, had a middle school science fair energy when we visited. I guess Fan Waste of Time isn’t as good of a name.

Those of you that have been on the boards pre-pandemic may recall that I put some old BU games online during the lockdown. At this time I'm not sure it's worth it for me to continue to pay to have the games available online. So, if you want the games to remain available from me let me know. Furthermore, if I do pay to host the games for another year I'm considering replacing some of the regular season games with a few more recent tournament games. Again, let me know your thoughts.

We stayed out near Forest Park, which was a much more agreeable area. We took in the art and history museums, and the zoo. For the past four years we've sat first row, top level, dodging an increasingly annoying problem, people who stand while a game is going on.

Not sure how good of a source this is:

NHL.com beat reporter for the Islanders says the same. GM Lou Lamoriello knows what another season of "finishing" under Pandolfo will do for Eiserman's preparation.

In MTL's final regular-season game, Hutson tied the all-time record for assists by a rookie D with 60.👋

New roster projections from BurntBoats now posted. Still a few holes to fill.

Gotta build a room... No small thing, that. I'd love to see a "character guy" transfer (or 2) who are 3rd or 4th year players.
I have to believe that Jay, and especially Joe, have been working on this. They could see the inevitable roster changes all season long. They’ve picked up McLaughlin who is a rising senior, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see some CHL activity. I do think we need to beef up our D-corps with a couple of older, steady defensive players. I think we’re ok on the offense side. And solid in goal …. I do wonder what’s going through Max Lacroix’s mind now, though.
