The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
It's a big class for sure. Janecke and Harvey from Wisconsin are going to be vying for the #1 overall pick in the PWHL next year. I'm going with the Tkachuk Janecke comp. The attendance records should be shattered this year with the upcoming farewell tour. The PSU brass should get on this train...
It's not just her - Christian, Roberts, Vaslet, Butze, Desa and Lum. You couple that with the fact that PSU will not have any seniors in 2026 since Retrum transferred and Hengelmuller retired and I'm sure Mercyhurst and RIT are counting down to getting past this year.
Getting a former goalie as an assistant coach is another good move by the PSU program. I think Kampersal has assembled a strong coaching staff. This is the last year for Janecke, yes I know it is hard to believe.
Smart move on your daughter.
Yes, the glossy production producer did a nice video. Penn State is all over the board on their brand marketing. Unrehearsed videos, videos with someone writing skits and then the high level video that just dropped with sound effects and Aerosmith. I still think...
I don't see any Showcases or Tournaments. St Lawrence, Northeastern, Cornell, OSU and Vermont fill out the schedule. St Lawrence graduated Hustler which has to be a positive for PSU. Kampersal is sticking to his mantra of playing a tough out of conference schedule.
My prediction is that Lum will really help with increasing the number of team blocks. St.Lawrence is very pesky on blocking shots and she has been a large part of that peskiness.
The picture with her in the graduation picture must have spooked someone, necessitating a news release? Anyway, Kampersal keeps his streak going on players coming back for a fifth year. Vaslet is a big deal for Penn State and could have picked wherever she wanted to do a grad year at in my opinion.
Stecker had to play all year with MacDonald, and that pairing held up. Stecker took a big step forward this past year and the odds are MacDonald has a second year jump. Butze had a nice year last year, but Garcia has graduated, so she will have to get used to playing in a pairing with someone...
