    I disagree with the players being happier ... It's back to pre- covid and no extra years. What does that mean? If the team is doing it right, the coach has 4 to 5 scholarships a year. If you already have players signed it means that you maybe have wriggle room for one more. The Muzzinator...

    A lot of good players on the list. If Colgate can grab a couple of transfers, the program will be in good shape. Player retention is going to be key.

    Good point on shelter! Wallin also has a big year at UMD coming over from the AHA. The UMD coach is a quiet secret on their recruiting abilities of transfer students. Mobley and Gigure ended up at UMD also. I thought that Minnesota would have grabbed the UMD coach after letting Frost go.

    Don't discount the non-wcha players - a Mercyhurst player ended up at UMD and led the team in scoring for most of the year until she went to the Olympics....And led her Olympic team in scoring. Muzzy poached five or six Robert Morris players her first year after the program collapsed.

    Mercyhurst is getting bludgeoned in the portal with five players having submitted their names. That's a bit surprising to me as the program was ranked 12 th. So far no players from PSU have entered.

    The next class coming in is good and the 33 wins will take care of the next two classes after that. The program is in great shape. Kampersal has a great coaching staff, hopefully he can hold onto all of them.

    Minnesota Women's Hockey 2025-26

    May received what is the norm - the four year deal to start so everything seems to be in order there. An NFL team just fired a head coach and promoted a coordinator and the reasoning was a new direction and continuity in equal parts so maybe apply that to this situation.

    I'm going to think she bounces one player. Say what you want but One Olympian vs 5 Olympians and Janecke had PSU right on the precipice. That is going to speak to someone. My comp has always been a female Tkachuk. And of course that doesn't take away from any of the other girls up for draft.
