The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Rousseau was on his game last night. Great job...the guy is so freakin quick. Nice bounce back win for the team, very nice. These guys are really starting to gel now. Prayers go out to Langlois for a speedy and full recovery. That was a nasty and really uncalled for hit.
Meh, Booyaah should be out there tonight. He's a fierce competitor and needs to work through his slump and get his mojo back, so my guess is he's dying to redeem for last night. Normally maybe Rousseau but not tonight.....no house money to play with. We need points and Booyaa needs to help...
Yeah, lights look a little dim to me too. But, as has been mentioned, no Mannix f'n screaming in my ear. Seriously why cant they put something on that guys mic that tones it down a few hundred decibels....geeezus it is annoying as all hell.
Touchdown and extra points against BU, always fun to see. Pretty intense series, great to see Rousseau get the victory, he deserved it, and great to see Bennie have the confidence in him to put him out there against the #5 team in the country. Of course, very impressed with Maines work ethic...
Well now, that was kinda fun. Guys seemed to be gelling already....seem to be figuring it out. Tonight will be a huge test for both of these teams. I doubt we will see it but I'd give Rousseau a shot in net tonight. I figure we are kind of playing with house money so what the heck. He...
I'm not worried too much about Booyaaah. He's a battler, and now he has a little competition. If I were to guess I think you'll see a level in him in the second half that exceeds everything he did last season.
Everything considered a pretty epic comeback. I saw a little never say die attitude out there, not as much as we expect as diehard fans as we are, but some nonetheless. Also saw glimmers of the skill set most of these guys came here with, and are beginning to figure out how to use in D1...
Yeah, I can agree on the lack of size as a concern. I am betting having all those MJ recruits invading the locker room might be a little tough to get used to. Cultural differences are certainly possible....wonder if that is what Bennie is directly referring to.
Finallly got a chance to watch the saturday game. Actually came away with a good impression of the game. First off, Q looks pretty loaded and for the most part Maine stayed with them even after losing Lipinski, Freel and Nadeau. You knew going in that getting a W at Q after nearly beating...
Wow Wally, you have faith....assuming you think big Blue will be in Vegas. Could happen I suppose if the frosh develop. I think Lipinski will be a gem down the road. Good size and knows how to use it. Assume we see Rousseau in net tonight to start a rotation. What I saw of him against UHN...
