Just how stupid are these guys? A month ago RFK jr (HHS Sec), Dr. Oz (CMS), and Dan Brillman (CMCS) hosted Russell Brand at their MAHA summit. Today, November 5, 2026, Russell Brand was convicted of rape and sexual assault. He is going to prison for a long time

I googled that conference and sure enough he was there. I'm not sure you could find a worse administration if you picked everyone from a prison.

Yeah, they’ve had at least a pretense of moderation the last few months (ICE raids were down somewhat, a somewhat ceasefire in Iran). Now, instead of turning away from the stuff that got them their asses handed to them in the midterms, they’re going to double down on the bullshit.

The only question now is if the Republicans in Congress will keep going along with the bullshit or if they’ll try to save their jobs and push back.

In my mind, even if nothing happened from here on out, the damage already wrought is so bad that I think day one was the start of the scorched earth policy.

As for your question, I think it’s more likely Trump pivots to being a secret Democrat this whole time, reversing everything he’s done by signing every Democratic bill that hits his desk, than any Republican using this election to moderate themselves or their political viewpoints. Moderate their language or their mannerisms in return to the covert stealing of the pre-Trump Republican Party? Sí, claro. Prove me wrong, Republicans.
