She really stood out when St. Cloud visited LaBahn last season. It is crazy that masha Russian girl is really tearing it up at St Cloud. Her release is pretty incredible. She was barely recruited too since she came over to Canada in her final year of school and played u18 and then her extra year she played junior u22. To think she also didn’t know a word of English!!!! Crazy accomplishments. It’s wild to think of how many late bloomers out there get overlooked and then give up completely.
Amos (who will make TC) and Macdonald (outside shot)
Time for McNaughton to put up a 50 save Gascon shutout.Last week's results
BU at UW - BU's uni's reminded me of the 80's UW men's jerseys. Major injury for UW in game 2.
UMD at Vermont - UMD with a BAD showing. loss and a OT win. Yuck
TWSNBN at St. Thomas - nothing to see here
UM at BSU - here either
St. Cloud at Kato - a sweep send the Huskiettes into the 8 hole natioanally, even jumping the underperforming B-Dawgs. MSU drops to 16th.
This week
St. Cloud at Colgate - interesting match-up
BSU - Maine - Interesting
BSU - UM - Meh
Maine - UM - Interesting
UW at TWHNBN - Outlook looking very bad to terrible for UW, depending on medical reports. UW will be missing 2 of their top 3 D and an impressive high flying Fr C at a minimum. Could also be missing their #4 D and top W as well. The D corps could consist of a great Jr, 3 freshmen, a So who didn't play last year and an EZAC transfer Jr who is 6th on the depth chart. I don't know that Nela and Hall will be able to keep them in the games.
Tommiettes at Dawgettes - an early battle for relavancy.
Yeah, I agree, provided they don't puke up a whole bunch of odd man rushesTime for McNaughton to put up a 50 save Gascon shutout.![]()
Maybe they need to start playing the trap?Yeah, I agree, provided they don't puke up a whole bunch of odd man rushes
Geez, St. Cloud let us down.St. Cloud at Colgate - interesting matchup

It will be interesting to see how well they get back to playing as a team since it's no longer all on Murphy's shoulders.Obviously everyone is very interested to see if the kinda new version of UM will have a different result against That Other Team, also known as TWSNBN. I think the jury will still be out on the Boomtowns, it's very early in the season for his rebirth program to take full effect.
I just wanted to let the forum know that I take credit for the Boomtown Rats name (see first page of this year's Gopher thread).Geez, St. Cloud let us down.
BSU did ok, wish they would have swept.
Tommies split w/UMD.
UW fails as expected.
UM get's 2 Meh wins.
This week:
UMD at BSU - Battle of Mediocrity #1
TWSNBN at Boomtown Rats - Battle of the Best
St. Cloudy at St. Tommy - Battle of Mediocrity #2
MSU at UW - Battle of the Basement

Yes, it is true, I don't want to steal my Siren Bro's thunder......he get's full credit. I really like the Boomtown Rats name he came up with.I just wanted to let the forum know that I take credit for the Boomtown Rats name (see first page of this year's Gopher thread).
So the Boomtown Rats are going to spring the "Rat Trap" on Ohio State and Muzzy will be singing "I don't like Mondays" when the next poll comes out.I just wanted to let the forum know that I take credit for the Boomtown Rats name (see first page of this year's Gopher thread).
It's a full-strength Gopher squad sans maybe Rachel Piggott. And it's an Ohio State team that just going off stats might have left some goals on the table. So the path to a split is there. But: the person who can take over a game on the maroon end has not yet been identified. That being said, they might not need that for a split. Last year in the Saturday game in Minneapolis they jumped out to a lead early and kept the Buckeyes at arm's length from there before The Incident at the end.
Hannah Clark has had strong starts each of her first two seasons so her locking in is on the board as well.
I think if they split the rats stay number two. Let's hope for the sweep. So the Boomtown Rats are going to spring the "Rat Trap" on Ohio State and Muzzy will be singing "I don't like Mondays" when the next poll comes out.
Who cares about a poll in October. What matters more is the size of tOSU's lead. If the Gophers take even a single point, then UW can pass tOSU in the WCHA standings with a series sweep if both teams win out otherwise. If the Gophers split (seems doubtful), then UW could pass the Buck's with a win and and OT win H2H. I'm not sure how many teams besides you are going to be taking points off of tSOU. PSU did about as well as can be expected, but they are a top-five team in all likelihood.I think if they split the rats stay number two. Let's hope for the sweep.
You're funny! So the Boomtown Rats are going to spring the "Rat Trap" on Ohio State and Muzzy will be singing "I don't like Mondays" when the next poll comes out.
It is weird that it was a popular song given the dark back story. You're funny!![]()
I do.Who cares about a poll in October.
