I am considering getting ESPN+ to watch this Islanders season. Is this the smart way to do it for out of market?

Yes. But you'll be blacked out of any games on NHL Net, TNT, ABC, ESPN/ESPN2.

If you link your cable TV info to ESPN+, the ABC and ESPN games are available then. TNT games can be streamed on HBO Max (if you have an account). NHL Net games are never available for streaming.

From what it sounds like is that there are teams interested but are having trouble finding players worth the trade that are actually willing to go to Winnipeg.

Check all of your “stuff” if you get discounts. CC’s, cell phone, etc. Might make the cost better.
