Well, he owns Arsenal, the defending Premier League champions, and the LA Rams, who have done successively better in the playoffs the last three years. So he has a decent track record. But he is more concerned with how much money he can make on the land around the stadium (or relocating them to LA proper where he is guaranteed money)
To be fair, he financed a $5 billion stadium himself, so he has a good track record there, too.
