Retired billionaire business doosh who's running for the GQP nod for MI governor.Rick Perry's johnson?
Context and office matters. Particularly in the Trump era, I would like to see the Democrats take the house and senate. So yes, as an example, here in MA, i will be voting for the democratic candidate regardless of who wins. While i would prefer a different senator that Warren, I have also voted for her each time.Would you vote for any Democrat over any Republican at this point, including someone like Mamdani, Bernie, El-Sayed? Would you vote for Jackson over Collins? Do you regularly vote for Elizabeth Warren?
I'm going to guess some sort of far-left cult. I've made it pretty clear that while registered as "independent/unenrolled" he keeps referring to MAGA as "my party" - so he must be either blinded by some sort of cult logic or lack comprehension skills. What cult is Kepler in? Dude was just agreeing with you last week that Moulton was a strong candidate and it wouldn’t hurt to have a Democrat with military experience able to speak on such things, and now he’s in a cult?
Again - context, era and office matters. At the current time I'll vote for whoever emerges from the primary, although I would much prefer Moulton. If we were talking a hypothetical governor's or other state/local race in MA (where democrats have a super majority), I would absolutely vote for a moderate republican (Think someone cut from the mold of Charlie Baker) over a Mamdani like candidate.... I'd bet a lot of independents in MA would as well.I don’t know if you are. Frankly, I don’t care. It’s okay to not agree with the entirety of the DSA platform. It’s okay to like Seth Moulton over Ed Markey because of Markey’s age, even if I disagree. If you keep voting for Democrats despite some parts of the country choosing DSA members to represent them, then you’re good. I only think you’re a moron if you vote for any Republican at this point, in 2026 with what’s happened in the last 10 years to oh, 50 years. If you stop voting for Democrats because the DSA now has what, four members in Congress or something, you’re a moron or worse.
Correct - as i've been pretty clear about in prior posts - while I've always been registered as an independent there was a time i was probably closer to a moderate republican - however, especially in the Trump era, that party has left my (my views have really not changed) so in more recent years i've considered myself much more of a moderate Democrat.... and what i'm seeing are the beginnings of the Democratic party moving further left and also leaving me.I'm going to 2nd this motion. If the support by repubs for the worst president ever doesn't sway you, Think about the support the repubs are giving to him for the BS war he has gotten into. Or the complete dissing of the rule of law by the DOJ they support. Or the over the top insider trading the repubs support or etc etc, the list goes on. Certainly Dems are in on some of this also still better than the other side
It is a racist old boomer that wishes he were Dump, but never got Dump's blessing. What is a Perry Johnson?
Collins stated today she will not vote for todd now that it goes to full senate.
That flowchart is so simple that I see a great use case for replacing Susan Collins with an AI agent. The only catch is that it might cost even more than she does to run and maintain it, and would probably poison part of a small Maine city's water supply.
