I thought so too. Climate change + migration. But maybe proto-Mycenaens were driven by an early migration wave. They were brutal fuckers.
Perhaps the Mycenaean descendants took it in the keister from another offshoot which never settled.

They missed the best play. Saul Goodman, played by Odenkirk, as the lawyer would have made this a timeless classic.
But in realistic terms they ought to have used the exact rendering of the original Chuck Jones art. Not just as homage. It would make it hit so much better.
