2026 Elections: To the Midterms and Beyond!

unfuckingbelievable.

this is the kind of shit that makes people give up because it's beyond rigged
Entirely believable.

If democracy was easy, everybody would do it. I hope this inspires people to work harder, join, contribute, talk to their neighbors, build community. We have to get money out of politics. The only way to do that is to get rid of everybody who takes money.

Ironically, many Members would love that. They suck off the donor class and do their bidding in self-defense: it is the only way to be in office and maybe do a fraction of good. If we eliminated the bribery they would be freed to do more good things. Many of them started out just like us. They were not born bad people, they were corrupted by a corrupt system. We may need to burn them out -- Chuck Schumer is not our friend, and I can't imagine ANY Republican is anything more than either a cynical power grabber or worse a true believer psychopath. But the first step is criminalizing all bribery.

When I saw the Va Supreme Court was 5-2 GOP (I know, I know, nonpartisan lololol) I figured this could easily be the outcome.

Even in defeat, Massie couldn't help but take the opportunity to remind us that just because he hates Dump, doesn't automatically mean he's bright:

He called on lawmakers to support "food freedom," "medical freedom," and "basic decency."

He had a toast of raw milk in honor of his late wife Rhonda Massie, who died in 2024.

Freedumb!

I do not get the raw milk thing. I never will.
There is a lot of woo-woo about the "benefits" of drinking raw milk and unintelligent people believe it. 🤷‍♂️

The only time I will consume it is in a cheese, where it does have some difference in flavor (grassier, gamier) and the salt content kills any pathogens.

Republicans are now actually barking. The weaponization fund, and the ballroom. You can sure tell it's election season. If we even have one.

CNN is claiming they have the Democratic autopsy from the black woman not getting elected President election. You know, the thing that was NEVER going to happen because Joe Rogan had "issues".

Fuck this planet.

Does that even help the prices in any way?
NO
NO
NO

it saves money by allowing more pollution. you think any business is gonna turn around and reduce grocery prices because we're letting them go back to the poisonous old shit? this is just a way to undo the Montreal protocol and poison more people

they want all the poors dead. this is very clear
