St. Norbert General

People do things with their families in Green Bay...one of 32 cities that has a franchise in the most valuable sports league in North America. So interest spreads all over the place. Based on what I've seen from the Utica fan base, not many fans have families, voluntary or involuntary, so they all head to the Aud.
Listen, Utica isn’t beautiful and I have never argued any different. But let’s not act like Green Bay, Wisconsin is some utopia. Green Bay thrives off the blue collar and loyal population the same way Utica does.

Oh, and shit talking aside, I have a hunch there’s a good chance that it is UU coming next season to open the new ice sheet with SNC. Tim D. alluded to it being and eastern team that would bring some excitement, but didn’t want to elaborate just yet.
FWIW, I've seen a draft of next year's schedule for Utica, and St. Norbert was not on it

What's this storm doing in GB? What is the team's plan?

The boys are on spring break, correct?

What's the backup plan? Bus down to a flight out of MIL or CHI if necessary?

You have never experienced the quiet charms of Great Lakes living to make such a statement.

I'm a bit south of Green Bay but we mostly got freezing rain today. It finally started snowing a few hours ago. Supposed to get 8-12 inches overnight.

I heard up in Wausau they set a single day snowfall record by 11 am.

No idea what the flight plan is but it should be cleaned up enough by Thursday to fly out.

And I heard that UNE was flying out of MKE which I'm assuming they were able to do today as it was mostly raining down there.

Yesterday, the feed just... vanished. Like, the NCAA website basically just deleted the video feed from its website.
I'm not sure if that is consistent with something being on the NCAA's end, but that is what I saw. Not sure what Jaslow experienced.
That’s exactly what I experienced. And I constantly refreshed to try to get it back.

I find it very hard to believe some people actually were still able to watch it. But jerrynu is not one to make things up.

On the telecast last night, it was said the plan was to bus after the game to Milwaukee, spent the night and proceed to Chicago in the morning to fly home.

Yeah, these things can be quite tricky to diagnose, especially in the cases like these where there are so many intermediary nodes for the feed to be passed through.

At the end of the day, it's a free and ad-free feed to watch great hockey. It's frustrating, but I'm not complaining, unless the NCAA is at fault. Then, they deserve all the blame.

In case you wanted to see the view of the game winner and ensuing offsides review from the stands.
Thanks for sharing the video. The SNB kid put a great move on UNE Keeper and scored a great goal. You couldn’t see down the line, so couldn’t tell if it was off-side or not. What I find curious about the review is that usually it’s the linesman who make the determination on the review. It seemed as though they couldn’t, or were in willing to make the call, which indicates to me, it must have been very close. Anyone else have an opinion?

In any case, a great win by St Norbert. If they get to Utica, they will have been “battle-proven” and they will have earned it.

Also, here in Maine, I lost the feed right before the final 5 minutes or so! No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it back, which made the end so frustrating.
