My money is on Norwich.
Word on the street is it's just about sold-out. Pretty remarkable with the students being on break. My money is on Norwich.

The Cadets seem to be peaking at the right time. We’ll see what happens Saturday nightMy money is on Norwich
Unfortunately will probably be the least Internet viewed championship. In today's world there is so much more to view with no charge.Should be a good championship to cap off the inaugural season. Didn't expect Babson and Norwich to get shutout wins in the semifinals, but both have some solid momentum. Think that both teams are neck and neck but the Cadets have the edge since new years with only 1 loss and a major win over Babson to lock up the regular season title. Throw in a home championship at Kreitzberg and I think I'll take Norwich.
While I agree with the overall sentiment, and have watched many NU away games over the years on stream for free, I'll play devil's advocate for the moment. Tickets to the game are $11.00 for standing room. FloSports tops out at $19.99/month. Assuming many who would watch would be the same people who would buy a ticket if they were present, is it really that much of a stretch to pay for the ability to watch at home? A standing room ticket, a coffee, and a hot dog would run you $18 at Kreitzberg, so cough up the $20 and eat/drink for free!Unfortunately will probably be the least Internet viewed championship. I will watch Oswego at Hobart for free, and also eat and drink for free. Sorry, Little East shhoul have stuck with NSN or gone with HUDL.While I agree with the overall sentiment, and have watched many NU away games over the years on stream for free, I'll play devil's advocate for the moment. Have to agree with you on that. Tuned into to a bit of Williams vs Hamilton and caught the end of the CNE and SUNYAC games. Have no stake in any of the games but would still rather tune in quickly to some of these other matches than pay for Flo.Unfortunately will probably be the least Internet viewed championship. Feel like the only real demographic buying Flo access are alumni/locals who are active fans who don't live nearby (aside from some outliers). Have talked with a small number of people at Plymouth from the area who decided to get a monthly subscription, but most people stopped watching because they'd rather see a game in-person and have their money go directly to the school. Does make me wonder what each LEC school is getting out of the Flo contract because it sounded like streaming numbers have plummeted for Plymouth. While I agree with the overall sentiment, and have watched many NU away games over the years on stream for free, I'll play devil's advocate for the moment. You’ll never get as many viewers when you go to pay model vs. free. Period. That’s just reality.Pretty sure streaming numbers have plummeted for all Flo schools.
Babson is out. Last night was a win and in for both teams.Norwich, Champions!!!! Great job, represent the Little East boys! Babson waits for a call. Almost identical to UNE. Might come down to these two for last bid..
Great draw for the Cadets. Examining the Seahawks results from the regular season, outside of one victory over Bowdoin, I can't find a "quality" win. If Norwich stays hot, they're positioned quite well.Even just having two teams in the mix for the tourney is an impressive showing for the LEC’s first year. Babson lost out with how much parity there’s been towards the top of the NPI, but they’ve been sitting right around the AQ cutoff line for most of the season.
And for Norwich that’s a nasty draw as they return. Saw a couple people say it in the Bracket and Norwich thread, but if the Cadets stay hot they have a straight path to the Frozen 4 through an incredibly well rested Salve and an ailing Hamilton.
Norwich has a great draw. "Well rested?" More like stale. Don't get me wrong, it's the playoffs and one and done, anything can happen. I get it. But to sit around that long and expect to be up for the one and done is going to be difficult. As it is, teams who have the bye have to concentrate on keeping themselves on their toes, and that's just a two week gap.Even just having two teams in the mix for the tourney is an impressive showing for the LEC’s first year. I should've up the sarcasm from "incredibly well rested" to the 'most rested team in hockey.'Norwich has a great draw. "Well rested?" More like stale. Reminds me of when Arizona State made the D1 playoffs as an independent, had to sit around a very long time (like well over a month) between their last game and the first round, and subsequently got waxed. It would be hugely disappointing for Norwich if they can't take advantage of this situation Salve finds themselves in.
Salve is much better than they are getting credit for here. If you think Norwich is going to walk into Salve Regina and trounce them then I believe you will be surprised. This isn't some MASCAC AQ.I should've up the sarcasm from "incredibly well rested" to the 'most rested team in hockey.'
Besides their NPI rank, I don't see Salve having much of an advantage at all on Norwich. Two games in February... one against the bottom of the LEC the other against DII "powerhouse" Franklin Pierce. Even familiarity wise from the NEHC, not sure how much good that'll do with both teams changing coaches and Salve losing a handful of players who would have experience against the Cadets. Wouldn't be surprised if Salve can keep it a bit close, but fully expecting Norwich to trounce them.
