The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
I’m not sad, I just feel sorry for the listeners, although Bob Ahlfeld is the second best broadcaster in the ECAC so that feed you can’t go wrong listening to them. Last time I was in Clarkson, Tim Heiman and I were yelled derogatory things, snowballs with ice thrown at us etc. so I’ll never go there again
Do you recall what year this was? Was it the game in 2001-2 when Carson Butterwick scored in OT? I recall vividly a female Clarkson alumna breaking down in tears in a DC sports bar.

That was the home Big Red Freakout game, the second best game in RPI’s history. The one I’m thinking about was maybe 2008, I never knew what the term “dear in a headlights” meant until we were driving back at around 10 pm and coming around a curve and about a dozen deer just stood there, even after Tim flashed the brights at them. The idiots just kept munching on frozen grass until we were about five feet away then they all scrambled
