Apparently they have one of the worst SOS in the country. So, their nonconference schedule must be pretty bad.I haven't been following NCAA Basketball too closely this year...
What's the story with Miami (the "We have Miami at home" version)? Are we really at a point where they will be left out if they don't win their conference tournament, despite only having 1-2 losses on the year? I get that they are the MAC, but was their non-conference schedule that bad? Kinda seems like winning 25+ straight should account for something with the selection committee...
They’re 27-0, but 24-0 in the eyes of the committee as they have three non-D1 wins as countable games. Hilariously, one of the non D1 schools they played has a picture of a Miami swimmer as their logo on the schedule who must share the same name. Their top non-con game was against Wright State, who is currently 156 in KenPom.Apparently they have one of the worst SOS in the country. So, their nonconference schedule must be pretty bad.
