WCHA Tournament

Murphy will be on a mission!
Based on what we've seen from European players in past years returning from the Olympics, don't expect those who competed for medals to be at their usual level during the WCHA Tournament. Some are able to bounce back and regain their form by the NCAA Tournament, but the emotional tank is pretty empty after the Olympics. I'm guessing that the NHL and PWHL players will also take a couple of weeks to settle into their groove.

The BADger USA ladies arrived home late last night. MJ is giving Edwards and Harvey the day off today. I presume they all will play this weekend unless a player asks to not play. It's more important that they are ready for next weekend than this weekend.

That makes sense; Simms didn't get any ice time last Thursday, so she hasn't played in a week, McNaughton barely played at all, and Sapo hasn't played in over a week. Physically, they should be ready to go - jet lag notwithstanding. KK and Laila had a more physically demanding couple of weeks.
