Nothing is guaranteed, of course. I don't think anyone has the slightest clue as to what kind of "coaching style" Ayers would bring with him, any more than you guys at BC would have the slightest clue as to what "coaching style" UNH's Jeff Guiliano (a BC alum) would have if he was ever tabbed to be BC head coach in the future.
One thing MA34 would immediately enjoy that MS7 doesn't have is a better reputation with the advisor/agent community, who often make decisions with/for their younger clients as to where to matriculate. So yes, at least initially, you would think Ayers would draw better/more highly rated players to Titletown than Souza has been drawing (which won't be all that difficult for anyone to accomplish TBF).
