2026 Winter Olympics: Thread Title Under Construction

Do the Nordics still include biathlon as military training? That is a huge advantage.

And while we love guns, I don't think of Americans as talented hunters or marksmen. That requires character. The average Swiss teenage girl is better with a gun than any of our NRA assfarts. Conservatives are always embarrassments: in the classroom, on the range, and in the bedroom.
Certainly not about the skiing- the US just got another CC skiing medal.

But, yea, I really really find if funny that the US has so many guns that people don't know how to use. But that point is now for a different thread.

Just turned to CBC and they showed the breakaway near the end of the game- the refs missed a really clear hook that should have been a penalty shot. The canaidan player prevented the shot with the stick up at his hands and not on the stick. Bad call.

Too bad the same player missed a very open shot in OT to win it.

Didn't Canada outshoot them in the 2-1 win by something like 46-8?
39-25 in a 5-1 for Canada but the Swiss also started their backup goalie. Genoni, the starter, might not be an NHL but he’s dragged the Swiss to World Championship finals three different times and was the tournament MVP last year. He’s capable of stealing a game and the Swiss play structurally sound that it could be trouble.

And NBC shows on Czeckia's third goal, they had 6 on the ice. The whole play- even the celebrations. So that makes it even.
