I've been driving around rural Wisconsin, picking up documents needed to apply for my canadian citizenship.

I've been on Interstate 94, and many state and county highways in between towns.

Not ONE trump sign seen anywhere. ZERO.

Between 2020 and 2025 it was very common to find flags and other displays in rural areas.

Even my almost 90yo Korean War vet neighbor removed his Trump flag. I haven't bothered to ask him if America is finally great again. The other neighbor committed suicide last year.

People are not OK out here.

There’s a house near our synagogue that has five flag poles.

The Trump one came down a few months ago. It was replaced with old Minnesota flag, which is really just another way to signal they’re hardcore derp.

Edit: Yes I am tempted to talk to these people to get an explanation. Especially the Ireland/Israel combo.

For those in MN, along HWY 29 north of Parkers Prairie (out here in the land of Rocks and Cows), there is still a farm that has thier 4x8 foot Trump and Fischbach signs. We have to go by them every time we go to my parents or go north for hockey.

Every time we pass them, I just want to go douse them in lighter fluid and throw a match.......
