If you'd grown up in Minnesota, your forbidden fruit would have been brunettes with a Suffolk County accent....
 
I thought it was good. Mariah Carey was a weird choice, and the dignitaries droned on a bit too long, but other than that I enjoyed it.

Growing up I thought I wanted the pro-typical Minnesota blonde haired blue-eyed beauty, but in high school developed an affinity for Asian gals after hanging out with 3 the summer before my junior year of h.s. while working at the Estes Park, CO YMCA camp. This blossomed in college and I never looked back. :ROFLMAO:
 
Always fun to hear the announcers come up with excuses when the person they have been hyping up so much during the pre-games shows doesn't perform.

So many excuses. Even ones that claimed that this person thrived under the same excuses.

Thankfully, the old veteran points out that the guy who won totally deserved it as opposed to making excuses for the poor performance.
 
Caught the first two periods of the women against Finland in hockey. Finland’s recovering from norovirus, but if anything it seems like the gap has widened between the US/Canada and the rest. Finland would get an opportunity now and then, but the US was skating laps around them.
