NFL 25-26: Blame The Refs for this Thread Title

They also came close to blowing a 21 point lead to lose the game. And a game like that always makes me wonder. ATL goes up 21-0 at half, and the first drives make it 24-3 in the 2nd half. Then the ATL offense just stopped- one stop to let LA score a TD, a blocked FG to 6, and another stop to let LA tie it up. They pretty much did nothing for most of the 2nd half. Then on their last drive, with about 2 min left, they ran down the field and scored.

How can an offense be so minor and all of a sudden turn it on? Just like how the D can be so good and then let the O run the ball down their throats.

It's a weird game sometimes.

DEDHAM — Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing charges alleging he assaulted someone, according to legal filings.

In charges filed Monday in Dedham District Court, Diggs, 32, is accused of misdemeanor assault and battery and felony strangulation or suffocation, records show.

No details of the allegations were disclosed in court, nor was the date of the incident. An arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 23

It was mentioned on the news tonight Diggs could go on the Commissioner's exempt list(pay, no play). That's what happened to Jabrill Peppers. He was on for 7 weeks until his charges were adjudicated.

W in T F!!!

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
New England Patriots star defensive tackle Christian Barmore is facing a domestic assault charge, according to court documents out of Attleborough District Court.

The 26-year-old is charged with one count of assault and battery on a family/household member.

The misdemeanor charge stems from an alleged incident in Mansfield on Aug. 8.

According to charging documents, the victim had been in a relationship with Barmore.

Reports are that New England let the NFL know about this back in August. Right now Diggs and Barmore are both eligible to keep playing as the NFL hasn't ruled on any disciplinary action.

And so it begins,

BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns have fired head coach Kevin Stefanski after six seasons.

The Browns finished the 2025 season with a 5-12 record en route to their second straight last-place finish in the AFC North and their fourth losing season under Stefanski.

The decision to part ways with Stefanski comes two seasons after he won his second NFL Coach of the Year award and less than two years after he received a contract extension.
