TV 20 - Sorry no fancy title

Maybe I have the benefit of not watching a minute of Eastbound and Down or Vice Principals, so he's not as irritating to me.

It's more knowing that while played up for laughs, the mega church pastors are this psychotic while giving a great public face.

Side note: In a prior life at the start of my career, I was on a project where a mega church was being expanded to include a 3k auditorium. There were issues with the steel erection that caused issues with loading, prior to HVAC installation. The head pastor for the church system sat in on the meetings occasionally, and when he sat in on this one discussing how to safely remove snow load from the roof because of the structural issues, the pastor calmly chimed in: "just go across the street [to the Home Depot] and get some 'people.' [Day laborers.] If the building collapses with them on the roof, no one will miss them."

Well, shit. I had been scrupulously avoiding Heated Rivalry as trash. Now I find it is directed by the guy who directed Shoresy and Letterkenny.

Fine. Sigh. I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go.

Stranger Things, S5 Vol 2: Rules still don't apply and they're either going to leave things unanswered in the hopes of spin-offs, or the finale is going to be way too rushed. Still, it's entertaining, so at least it's serving that purpose. Hilarious how much Harbour has phoned it in. And I can't tell if Ryder is phoning it in as well or just hasn't been giving any decent scenes to work with.
 
Any of you guys know who Ryan Serhant is? I’ve been watching his show Owning Manhattan on Netflix. The real estate porn is off the charts.

Just finished the finale of season 1. I LOVED the loon part.

Between this and the MN Wild playing a loon call every time the Wild kill a penalty, I feel like the loon is getting its moment.
 
Bad tv is fun when it is short...ST tends to have episodes that just keep going which is why I haven't watched this season. Its a lot of time to waste if it sucks.

The wife and I decided to go through season 4 before doing season 5. This was a mistake. We’ve lost steam during the rewatch and ever getting to the final season is in jeopardy.

Outside of about 1 full episode (split up amongst the entire season) Season 4 was trash. Everything I have heard has told me Season 5 is worse.

What started out as The Goonies has turned into The Snyderverse.
 
S5 is not worse than 4 and anyone saying otherwise is a Debbie Downer. Look the series should have wrapped up in 3, but it didn't. And honestly what's wrong with S5 has existed since S1, it's just we can longer rely upon the cast being filled with cute little kids. Stop over-analyzing it and watch. Or don't idgaf 🤣
