I would sue Google collectively and their executives individually for 1 trillion dollars.

MacIsaac said the summary falsely asserted he had been convicted of a series of offences including sexual assault, internet luring, assaulting a woman and attempting to assault a minor. As well, he said the Google entry accused him of being listed on the national sex offender registry, which is also untrue.

"I could have been at a border and put in jail," he said. "So something has to be figured out as far as what the AI companies are responsible for ... and what they can prevent."

NYT shows how Bari Weiss really screwed this up. She didn't attend any of the 5 screenings of the story, which began on Dec. 12. She only first weighed in on Thursday, and the show incorporated her suggestions. She then waited until weekend to ask for more edits...

Unfortunately "screwed this up" implies someone at CBS is considering taking action against her and well that's just not going to happen.

I interpret "screwed this up" as the Streisand Effect. Assuming she is in the tank for Dump, as bad as the doc may be it would just have been another data point in our march to Naziism, forgotten seconds after it aired, if she hadn't censored it.

Yup. But since the whole idea was to suck up to Trump so Ellison can buy WB it could still "work". I dont think it will but what does she care she is making millions to be the eventual fall gal at CBS.

Not a huge disagreement but I'm referring only to how it was phrased in the SM post. It suggests Wiess herself and/or higher-ups at CBS gaf about the decision/lack of prep that went into killing the story - they don't.
 
I've seen a couple independent TikToks that touched on this. I don't believe this due to the massive ambiguity of it, but, also where there's smoke there's fire.


An unnamed critical bank who dabbles heavily in metals was margin called and couldn't come up with the funds, was liquidated, and was bailed out by the US Govt REPO emergency funding.

Apparently other banks looked at this one as "already DOA, but hadn't stopped moving."

Even if this was a (weird, vicious, false) rumor, it definitely doesn't bode well for other banks in the future.
