this was also the first trade that included two jewish players. Hughes for Buium

Buium with a goal and an assist in his first period in Vancouver.
I have not been a big fan of Guerin but I admire his thoughts on trading on how it has to be fair to both sides. He swung for the fences. The question will be are they strong enough up the middle to win it or not. I'm not sure. But, there literally are no centers out there to get.

They have the goaltending, and they have the defense. Going to be fun to watch the rest of the season anyway.

Panthers injure yet another opposing player and not even a penalty called.

I ain't even gonna be mad when Bob is knocked into outer space. The Dept of Panthers Safety is gonna end up making someone a vegetable

It was a nasty trip of Jarvis into the net. The way he was holding himself on the ice, I'm thinking broken ribs for sure, maybe broken arm.

With a goal and an assist in the 1st, Crosby has now passed Lemieux and moved into 8th all time and became the all time leading scorer for the Penguins (points scored while a penguin)

Crosby is only 38? I swear he feels 50 to me.
He's having a good year too and on a point per game pace currently (though that is nothing new). Should move further up the list. I'd bet he could finish 5th or 6th. He's had 4 seasons where he played less than half a season due to injury/concussion.
