Northeastern led BU in the final game at Matthews with 1:30 to go, lost in regulation, then started a brawl. Tough night.

Maine defensemen combined to block 20 shots tonight. That is very good sign. Means guys are playing selfless and willing to sacrifice the body to cut down on goals against. More of that would be great. They will have plenty of time to recover from bruises so let’s see if we get this type of good defense tomorrow too. This team has trouble doing things the same way two games in a weekend. We shall see.
