Denigrating a charity where many people have busted their —- has nothing to do with winning or losing. By your ignorant post it is clearly evident you are a someone none of us want to know. Hopefully you are not typical of Utica fans

If you really think his comment was a dig at charity then your mind was already made up about him. This team has probably done more charity work and been out in the community 10x the amount Oswego has. Also a reason why the rink isn’t empty when the #1 team in the country comes to town.

And, how do you know what the Oswego athletes (and I mean all of the teams) do for the local community. You are ignorant!! Are you there to see what they do?! As a former OSU baseball player, I can tell you, the Laker athletes do a lot for the community. Coach Gosek and his players are very involved in community endeavors and charity events. I've seen it first hand. You have not obviously! Like I said you are ignorant!!
 
Uticas #1 tradition is the teddy bear toss, Oswego's is the whiteout game. Community outreach is not measured by how many teddy bears u get in one day. Both teams have multiple outlets for which they help the community and each outlet has different extents as to who shows up. It is impossible to know how much each hockey team does for the community. What is known is that Oswego athletics as a whole has won the 24 and 23 NCAA d3 Student-Athlete Community Service Award. Both schools have much more important things to worry about. Oswego has to curve their traditional December/January slump to have a chance at an at large bid to make the tournament. Utica has to worry about one more loss putting them in auto bid or bust territory. Let Heenan have his comments, he's the one who over scheduled early on and is probably looking to replace half his team over the winter break even though he's the one who dug the hole they're in.

EZ Dog,first off lakont55 has been watching Laker hockey since I played, and that was a long time ago just ask Russell,he has forgotten more about the game than most people know, and the game is not just on the ice ,its off it as well, and I would bet that the Oswego hockey teams off ice community based activities are on par with than any team in the league,The U included, its one of the reasons I have been donating to the Blueline club, the Oswego Hockey booster club for many years...The rink being empty has zero to do with a classless remark made by a adult coach who is supposed to be setting and example, you would never hear a comment like that out of Coach Gosek,he's a class act for sure.....Ok onto hockey and or what are you getting your wife for Xmas:(:(:(:(:(,because I have no idea what your wife likes:):):):):):p:p:p..wheres Remy when you need him. RIP
