UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

All embedded in their season thread, which or course is ridiculous, as Barr always has been a good recruiter and coach. After watching the Friday game on NESN and seeing the dejection by the players on the Maine bench, I only can imagine what their bench looked like after our depth players scored twice early in the third period on Saturday night.

We may have succeeded in reducing the prospects of any HEA teams other than NU and maybe one of BC, PC, or Yukon reaching the NCAA tournament this post-season. What a turn-around from last season!

This would be a UNH thing to do. Spoil chances of other teams in a hockey east down year by winning early, then granting Souza a lengthy contract as reward for his sweep at Alfond, then falter down the stretch to miss hosting hockey east quarterfinal, miss trip to TD Garden, and miss trip to NCAA. I’m not sure why because this all seems preposterous except that at the same time it seems like the most UNH thing ever.

It is clear to us that Maine is in a rebuilding year. In some way that exhibition game foretold that.

But it isn’t doing Maine any favors in our rivalry if you guys keep shitting the bed down the stretch. So in that regard I wish you more success than I otherwise would given it appears Maine doesn’t have competitive spirit this year.

Go kick the shit out of the rest of hockey east now, you have my blessing. But only for right now. So you better take advantage of this while it lasts. Likely next season I will go back to shitting on you guys as much as I can.

Well how big of you to give us your blessing! We will see who fares better down the line...in the meantime we will do wjat we can messing up other teams chances...its what we do...🤣

Creative, open-minded and magnanimous, all at once. 9.5 on a scale of 10.0, only drawback is groovy beat you to the "Souza extension" dig by a few hours.

You've gotten better at this since you distanced yourself from our neighborhood Karen ... kudos, keep up the good work. (y)

I was never in close proximity to Potty. Now, that’s no offense intended to Potty. My own Blackbears brethren would likely say that they’ve been snarled at for getting too close.

Face it, the annual trip to TD Garden when at least 3 of 4 of BU, BC, UNH, and UMaine was the best years of the HE finals. We even got treated to a year(maybe more) when all 4 made it together at the same time. I think that was in 2000.

For superstition’s sake you could dust off and don the Expos hat that you wore to the Garden that year. 😄

Oh, Buford, do I need to post the dozens of posts from you claiming that UNH needs a new coach? Souza wins a few and now you are congratulating him on 100 victories. I think a little Yiddish is in order. You are a putz. UNH hockey would be better off if you spent your winters ice fishing instead of posting here.
