The reason we don't have tiny cars in the US is because people don't buy them. They'd rather have a massive truck or SUV,

Ford discontinued the Focus, and Mazda will probably soon drop the 3 because they don't sell, and they can make more money on trucks and SUVs.

They don’t sell well because they don’t market them because they’re not profitable. And they’re not profitable because of the CAFE standards that the automakers themselves lobbied for.
