I hope the thing that comes out of this is all of our science gets firewalled from the politicals. NASA, FDA, NIH, EPA, NSF, CDC should each have an organizational structure entirely populated and reviewed by science boards with ZERO political input.

The voters can write the checks and STFU. The derps don't get to vote on facts. They're too stupid.

I gotta think the head of HHS linking your OTC drug to autism without proof is not something you can just brush aside.
