I’ve found the interface to not be overly different from Win 10 for standard users.
I’ve not yet had reason to get into its guts.

Depending on your company's IT settings, the only change I made when upgraded to Win 11 from 10 was forcing the right click menu to be the traditional full menu and not the Win11 simplified menu. Did it on my work laptop, virtual machine, and personal laptop.

I'm real close to taking my cordless hole punch and catching a felony to try and shut up some of these illegal fireworks in my subdivision. For four fucking hours now there's a couple people taking turns launching the really loud booming fireworks, but with just enough spacing between them that if the police were notified, they wouldn't be around to catch them AND they're scaring my dogs to the point thst they're stress panting so hard they probably need medical attention (and this is after Trazodone-ing both of them at 6:30 tonight.
If anything happens to my dogs, I will go John Wick on these assholes.

Right there with you. 2 days later, one of our dogs was still skittish about going outside to pee (she finally settled down as of this morning). Fireworks that sound like mortars when launched do not belong in dense suburban/urban settings. If you want to shoot off that kind of shit, do it Up North (for Michiganders) or in a similar rural area.

Scammers can all die a death that takes an agonizing week.
Remember to never answer a call unless you know who it is. Don't answer texts that you don't know who it is, Don't open emails that you have no idea why they are contacting you. Don't click pop ups that claim various things. That should save you thousands of dollars in being scammed.

I have wondered about this for a long time, since every local news story regarding scam calls advises “hang-up immediately”. However, I have a ‘hobby’ of using unsolicited calls for my own twisted entertainment. Kind of like Crank Yankers, but they call me!
Sad thing is, they just. don’t. stop!!! No matter how abusive or offensive I get… and believe me, I have crossed many lines in that regard… they just keep calling. Same scripts, same scams, same foreign accents. Eight yesterday, six today, all ‘spoofing’ local numbers.
I’ll answer (with a thick southern accent, or some other creative ‘personality’ of course!), drag them along, get transferred to a ‘specialist’, drag them along, ultimately ending in them hanging-up on me in frustration or anger. Again… “it’s a hobby”.
I do not reveal any info that would identify myself or any personal info. Anything I give-out is completely fabricated. All they have is my number… that they just can’t lose!!
But in doing this, am I at risk somehow?

Well, someone knows your number is real.
We don't answer any call that we don't know who it is. Sucks that we are at this point. If it's important, they will leave a message. And even then, I may not call back.

If it rings it means your number is real. You would need to block at the source.
Picking up probably doesn’t confirm your number is real so much as it means there is someone who is willing to pick up to unknown numbers. Which in turn means you’re probably like 100x more likely to get scammed than the average phone number.

They also block legit calls. Have had had that happen a few times. Which means that legit messages can't be left.
And they don't even come close to blocking all scam calls.
I get fake calls pretty often, still - called mild threats, but they totally blocked a call from a cruise company that we use trying to get in touch with us for real reasons (we have been talking with customer service about some cruises over a few days).
Comcast does the same thing- blocking legit calls and letting through scam calls.
Drives us crazy.
I have had to go through the effort that anyone who I know will call back - I have to ask them what number they will be calling from so that the systems don't block them. It's the worst solution to the problem that they could come up with.
