BU Hockey '25-'26: Can we keep up the run to Vegas?

Wouldn't each of the kids just signed (especially those from the CHL) have been promised and been informed of how rev share/NIL was going to work at BU for at least this coming season and perhaps next season BEFORE they signed with us? If so, then perhaps there is nothing to worry about.

I would say 1) I'm not 100% sure that BU knew the Patriot League was going to force their hand but you would think they would/should have. 2) Any NIL deals made before now will still be valid, so anything NIL promised to the players is ok. 3) Future NIL deals will be much more heavily scrutinized and have to pass an NCAA clearinghouse and must have (and I'm no expert) proof of business use and for a reasonable amount. So BU cannot simply pass off "revenue sharing" payment and call it NIL.

So they are using the prem league model 🤔🙄🤔🙄

Nick Bonino joins Colby Cohen on The Daily Faceoff's "Morning Cuppa Hockey" Wednesday at 9 am ET. Bonino is now an assistant coach for the Penguins, with whom he won two Stanley Cups.

I assume we're going to start seeing official announcements about the newcomers in the coming days. Looking at the BurntBoats chart and my goodness that's a lot of guys (and a lot of LWs...). Any word on who from the Merrill, Morrelo, McNelis, Hughes contingent isn't coming this year? Any of the 9 listed defensemen not really happening?

How about some guesses about lines for this season? Beyond Eiserman/Boisvert/Ritchie what do you think we'll see?
