Open Wheel Racing 2021, anyone there to watch?

To anyone who lives near Watkins Glen, I have two free tickets to the Six Hours of the Glen on June 20-22. Turns out I got asked to drive the pace car for the vintage event at Mid-Ohio that weekend (as well as the vintage event at Indy this weekend). So, if you want them, they are yours. Contact me via DM.

They are digital tickets (via TicketMaster), so very easy to transfer them to someone else.
Balls. Capital District trip planned for that weekend, otherwise I would be all over ‘em!

Good gig you got offered instead, though. Enjoy!!

Watching Hypercar qualifying for Le Mans was quite entertaining, especially with the diversity of cars. Porsche, Ferrari, Alpine, Cadillac, BMW, Aston Martin, Toyota, and Peugeot, plus we have Ford and McLaren coming soon too.

Be interesting to see how the FIA will screw this up in the future.

*Sees Ferrari win for the third consecutive year*

Oh, that’s how.

But it wasn't a factory car, it was a private entry.
The fact that the only thing keeping Ferrari from a 1-2-3 finish, in spite of all the penalties and mishaps that they had, was an absolutely perfect race from the Porsche (that failed tech inspection after qualifying) is not a great sign.

Lando... I don't know what he was thinking. There was never room for that.
He would have had the best line to come out of that section on the inside had he got that side. Lando made a great attempt going into the hairpin, but Oscar really did a nice over/under. And then waited a little longer going into the chicane. Oh, well. That's why Oscar will probably win the championship over Lando.
