Yep and yet every tech company is throwing billions at it. (meta is putting in $15 billion to one of them...maybe theirs who friggin knows) Google is trying to replace its friggin search with it. Memphis is being poisoned so that a bunch of rich pukes can pump their stock and then funnel it to crypto.

If we had any sort of real media they also wouldn't be calling this crap "AI". They act like this is Joshua from Wargames...
 
Even with today's relatively tiny, low-wattage chips, the amount of power required to run a crypto farm or large-scale LLM almost always requires liquid cooling to deal with the constant heat output. And I don't mean the little at-home water cooling setups that my friends nerded out on 20 years ago. We're talking engineered liquids that sometimes require full immersion and not just a liquid cooling block installed over the CPU. God knows what's in that crap and where it goes when it's spent.

I believe the area of Texas where Elmo has his Tesla Plant and Crypto farm is basically stealing all of the water making the area almost unlivable. But they wanted this so this is my reponse:

Didn't they also pass some local laws there that says they can do anything they want with anyone's property at any time they want, basically eminent domain on steroids?
