Dump Term 2, Part 2: "A third term would be a big shattering."

Well, that's a fine example of the government destroying markets. All in on a market in decline, rescinds all money in a market on the upswing.

Backasswards administration on everything. I don't think humanity recovers from this moron.

Senior year roommate made a killing by investing in some oil drilling companies in late ‘98-1999. They operated and owned the drills, and sold to whichever distributor. Crude prices were so low at the time, and he sold his stocks a couple years later after their rebound. That guy was (probably still is) a really smart investor.

Kevin kruse surprised me
Did he say that? That is out of character for him.

My response to the flag deal is "there was a lot of American Flags at January 6th, did that sway the average American to overthrow the government?"

Too many people have forgotten that the bs about "peaceful protests" and "swaying Americans" is historical revisionism. Walking on highways, disrupting the social order, ticking off people and inconveniencing them is how things get done. Just because MLK wasn't screaming like Malcolm X doesn't mean he just sat idly by and sang kumbaya. They marched in the streets and highways, they got in the way of the White People who wanted to go places, sat in their seats and they got in their faces so they had to be dealt with. And even if we take most of the arguments at face value...how were the "Peaceful" protests dealt with? What happened to John Lewis when he marched? Did MLK live a long happy life? Why is there a ship named after Medgar Evers exactly? (for now anyways...phuck you Hegseth) What happened to the people who went to the Mississippi to help Black People vote? Currently the VAST majority of the protestors are doing nothing but standing and yelling at worst...and how are they being dealt with?

As for the idea of "swaying the public" what was public sentiment towards the protests of Vietnam prior to Kent State? Vietnam was an unpopular war but the American Public was on the side of Nixon as opposed to the protestors no matter the type of protesting they did. (especially college sit ins and the like) So the idea that the average American is going to decide that Trump is right to send in troops and escalate situations with rubber bullets and tear gas because of Mexican flags IN PHUCKING LA is so stupid and naive it is ridiculous in the best light and is full on victim shaming in reality. It is basically saying "if they just did things the way White People feel comfortable dealing with it they won't have any problems". You know like how if Black People just obey everything the cops say they won't end up dead or if women just wear appropriate clothing maybe they won't be raped.

And I say all this as someone who used to complain like they do until I realized that there is no such thing as a "Peaceful Protest" because to most people peaceful=not something I have to deal with. And if you don't have to deal with it, then you can just ignore it and if people can just ignore it then nothing gets done.

Trump thinks Gavin should be arrested...
We're going to reach our flashpoint...

And Faux cut off Trump's comments about arresting Gavin. (they showed it tape delayed)

Just saw the headline, "Musk supports deployment of National Guard to LA".

I guess they love eachother again. Meanwhile the Democrats spent an entire weekend discussing whether or not they wanted his money.

The amount of "liberal" people (including media types) who are spouting the "it is stupid to have Mexican Flags at the protest" on bluesky is infuriating. If Americans are swayed to support Fascists because people in LA are supporting he Mexican Immigrants by holding their flag than those Americans are already fascists. Not to mention the "peaceful protests are fine but dont you dare disturb anyone!!!".

The White Privilege is just ridiculous.
"All this, for a damn flag?!"
