He's not going anywhere. There's no place for him on the Cap's backline next year. And he saw what a second year did for his brother.…until he announces he is leaving![]()

That would be a good break!
I see what you did there.Doug Grimes taking his talents to Miami University.
The YouTube interview with the TSU coach who announced the game was posted yesterday, so the information is fairly current. The coach talked about the financial challenge of launching the program, noting they'd need about $5 million for the first few seasons and that they have support from the NHL and the Predators. https://terrierhockey.blogspot.com/2025/04/sascha-shines-at-world-u18s-recruit-for.htmlRogie - I just saw on your blog about BU opening the season in Tennessee playing Tennessee State in Nashville. I heard this was happening, then I heard that they may not even have a team this upcoming season. Any more news than what you've already posted?
This game has been in the works for a long while, and the hurdle for it being announced has been whether TSU's program would get off the ground this year from a $$ standpoint. TSU wants the connection to BU, MLK's alma mater, as part of it being the first HBCU D1 hockey program. A great opportunity for both programs in a really, really great venue for hockey. The YouTube interview with the TSU coach who announced the game was posted yesterday, so the information is fairly current. If this game is indeed finalized, BU will have games in three NHL arenas next season: Bridgestone (NSH), MSG and TD Garden.

Hence my comment last week about the new kids on the block getting off the ground.
Jay isn't going to Pittsburgh. If he decides to take an NHL job for the $$$ (To get fired in three years) it would be the Bruins job. I don't see it happening.Pens have a job opening![]()
rumors of sully back to the B’s…. Although I gotta admit (as much as I’m a Bruins fan) why would either Mike or Jay or anyone really, want that job?Oh yah.
Just the comment for Mike. Not that Jay has any interest
