I can only assume that Coach Barr and staff get this type of potential recruitment, but on the off chance, I hope you send your work to them. Very interesting work, Sparkee!!!Another guy we should keep track of is Peter Reynolds. I don’t think he has committed anywhere yet that I can see. He seems to fit what Maine is looking for. Seems like a great two way left shot center man. He is from Fredericton, NB which is very close to Orono. So shortest commute to ncaa games for his family. Would only have 3 years of eligibility since he played USports one year at UNB.
Peter Reynolds(Saint Johns(QMJHL)), 1/20/03, LC, 5’ 10” 165 lbs, NZ 4.0, high skill, quick processing, elite passer, excellent skater, puck possessor, plays head up, dangerous playmaker, deceptive release, hard shot, plays with poise

The coaching staff is light years ahead of us, I would imagine. Soltys’ job is recruiter. He had likely driven all over New England, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and the maritime. I doubt much gets by him. He’s been in scouting virtually his entire career. I do this as a hobby just to see and track which players would be a good fit. On Peter Reynolds though, it seems like he is perfect for Maine since he is a left shot center and plays similarly to Lynden Breen. Plus, like Breen, his family is only few hours drive so easy for them to take in a game. I would imagine Reynolds would like the thought of second life at a better entrance to the pros. He would get a huge amount of scouting exposure making the switch.I can only assume that Coach Barr and staff get this type of potential recruitment, but on the off chance, I hope you send your work to them. I think you can put this in for Max Scott in your empty cell for his playing style: “gritty, tenacious, defensively responsible, 200 ft player, with vision and skill, and great on face offs”. He is very similar to Harrison Scott, like go to the net like Harrison.Ellis would be a big pickup if he tranfered here.
I updated the spreedsheet stats again since there is only 1 game left to played in the quarterfinal round across the three CHL leagues.

Rickwood to NoDak. I really hope they have more than Landon Sims lined up once the CHL season ends.Ellis Rickwood just entered the transfer portal from Clarkson. He was their top line center. He is a big right shot at 6’2” and 200 lbs. He lead Clarkson in +/- and was second in points per game at 0.9 ppg after scoring 35 pts on 10 goals and 25 assists. His CHIP rating was very good at 40.7 which was 5th on Clarkson. He was 10th in the country in face offs won at 430 and had a higher winning percentage than Harrison Scott. He was first team all ECAC. I think he would be a perfect addition to help fill the void at center for Maine since Maine graduated 3 centers! Max Scott took one, so there are two more center positions to fill.
What happened to Barkey?EVG wasn't in the lineup for game 1 of the conference finals, fans guessed they wanted a little more size (Rene Van Bommel only has 1 inch on him but is 20 pounds heavier) for the big rivalry series. However, there was a really bad injury to London captain Denver Barkey so he could get another chance in the lineup.
took a hit and landed really awkwardly on his left leg. speculation is potential high ankle sprain. needed to be helped off and couldnt put any weight on that leg. kitchener fans are also mad about a hit that was reviewed and resulted in no penalty at all, so in the off chance the ohl decides it deserves a suspension there could be another lineup spot opening up. might end up on the wing thoughWhat happened to Barkey?
Evan Van Gorp didn’t play. Van Bommel and Boulton both played. Seems odd to bench a guy that scored 19 goals and 41 points compared to those two scoring at a much lower rate. Are we sure Van Gorp is not injured also?took a hit and landed really awkwardly on his left leg. speculation is potential high ankle sprain. needed to be helped off and couldnt put any weight on that leg. kitchener fans are also mad about a hit that was reviewed and resulted in no penalty at all, so in the off chance the ohl decides it deserves a suspension there could be another lineup spot opening up. might end up on the wing though
....can you tell these teams really hate each other?
Also Riley Mercer did in fact sign with Minnesota Wild the other day.
Confidence in their scoring without him, and Aboflan is very big. He could be banged up or sick but they haven't mentioned it. Barkey also seems to have avoided the worst case and is only day to day. Just a deep lineup and tough to crack. Non-zero chance Boulton gets himself suspended again though lolEvan Van Gorp didn’t play. Van Bommel and Boulton both played. Update: per Mike Stubbs (London radio pxp), EVG is in fact injured, upper body. Could've always been the case and they just hadn't mentioned it, or some injury got aggravated in practice.Evan Van Gorp didn’t play. Van Bommel and Boulton both played. Could even be a concussion. They describe guys in college as upper body injury sometimes when they have a concussion. And concussions can be strange. I think at a minimum it takes a week to get over. Usually more like two weeks. Hope he is ok soon.Update: per Mike Stubbs (London radio pxp), EVG is in fact injured, upper body. In that injury tweet, Misaljevic out for Kitchener is a big loss. He’s a key player for Kitchener.Update: per Mike Stubbs (London radio pxp), EVG is in fact injured, upper body. Could've always been the case and they just hadn't mentioned it, or some injury got aggravated in practice.
He took warmups even though he was obviously not in playing shape, just so he could have a likely last warmups at home. Kitchener didn't have much of a chance, maybe could've avoided the sweep at full strength. In this entire series, they had a lead over London for 56 seconds. Misaljevic, plus OHL Goalie of the Year Jackson Parsons, will go from losing to the Knights to being Knights at Clarkson this fall.In that injury tweet, Misaljevic out for Kitchener is a big loss.
