Just heard our office is pushing back return to work from 9/1 to a small 10% pilot starting 9/14, then the rest of us coming back in phases starting mid November.

very interested to learn how someone evaluates their risk, in regards to the mask situation. From being in a dangerous situation to being what is tolerable and no longer dangerous by their measure or a level of danger that they are willing to tolerate.

Can anyone say with a straight face that if the 2018 flu season would have had 24/7 non stop coverage it would not have cause panic and hysteria?
If there would have been constant counting of deaths as if the baseline for death should be zero.

Florida's updated number has their worst death day 12 away from breaking 100. It's getting a lot worse before it gets better. Especially when their best day for cases in the last week was over 9000. Again, the sad part is that people who do believe this are going to die, and many of them are the less fortunate ones, who don't have healthcare, can't get tested, and are largely taken advantaged of by a lot of people who don't do any physical work.
And the lines for testing, the coolers outside of hospitals, etc- are hard to hide.

I haven't seen any mocking by posters here when at the same time, genuinely asking a question, looking for information like you did. You do nothing to indicate that you really are looking for genuine answers. I asked you some questions in a sincere effort to get a genuine response from you that you never answered. Not sure if I should be thankful of that or not.
Unless I missed a post I did answer your question about the nursing home average percentage of deaths yearly and the % of nursing home deaths attributed to COVID-19.

FL updates today's deaths to 156 and we still have 6 hours to go so they may push it again.
And of course that's their suppressed number. God knows what the actuals are. Someday forensics will go back and figure out how many the Nazis killed.
The people who are in charge in some of these states are reminding me of Baghdad Bob.... the destruction and deaths are all fake, just a hoax, keep things open, and lets get our kids back to school.. excuse me while I *cough*...

As soon as masking laws have been on the books for a while or enough time has passed to establish a standard of care, intentional and negligent tort claims will start popping up alleging that the tortfeasor caused harm to another by not masking. Like swinging a baseball bat in a crowded room. Of course, the swinger has to know they have a bat in their hands.

According to the CDC, all-cause mortality in Texas is above the three-year average by 2% at this point in the year. In Texas, COVID represents ~3% of all 2020 fatalities.

when you refer to the poor testing capability you will have to elaborate. We are testing more than any country right now at an astonishing rate and we continue to test more.
Am I worried about the numbers? Not really. Yes there are some hot spots today but the trends are looking better. And a majority of the country is managing very well. Also, how cases are being reported, Covid probable, contact tracers counting people who have come in contact with someone, ect there is major integrity issues with the case data. Same with positivity rates, some test sites only reporting positives for example in Florida. That was mocked when I brought it up earlier. Now it is apparent enough the regular media has picked it up. Also, the reports of deaths, almost no context.
As far as schools the entire Charade is embarrassing to me. I’ve seen some of the demands by teachers unions that have nothing what so ever to do with Covid 19. Quite frankly if some people don’t want to go back to school, students of parents or teachers then don’t. If some teachers do and parents of students then do it. These one size fits all type of policy’s are disastrous.
Do I think a Corona Virus is a hoax, not at all. They have been around for quite sometime. The media coverage, the constant case count, death count ect. With almost zero context is causing nothing but fear and panic.
