I never got the whole nursing home thing. The same people who were criticizing the number of covid cases and saying it was a hoax, blah blah blah, are now the same people saying “Zomg, he inflated the NuMbErS”. Which is it?



btw, I’ve soured on Cuomo. If he resigns, NY would have its first female governor.

It wasn’t just those people, though. There were a solid number of Democrats looking into the situation. I’m not sure they even had time to start investigating before it turned out that Cuomo can’t keep his hands to himself. I’m sure it didn’t help Cuomo that he had made plenty of enemies, including within his own party. I’m sure it might have even delighted some Democrats to look into potential his wrongdoings, rather than doing it solely because it was the right thing to do.
 
Cuomo can go any time and I'll be fine with it. I was worried he would take a shot at the Prez nom, which would have been DOOM.

Except that no one teaches actual CRT to grade school kids. So it will be defined by the fascists as any discussion of racial inequality by a teacher. I'm sure there will be hearings, tribunals, and inquisitions galore.

Cuomo has resigned as Governor of New York, effective two weeks from now. Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will become the first- yes, first- female Governor in New York’s history.

She ran for Erie County clerk on the Democratic, Conservative, Independence, and Working Families Party lines. How does that work?

Predictably, the Twitter righties are hella mad and are claiming Trevor Noah is a hypocrite because of the whole "Cuomosexual" thing from last year. Of course, they will stand by Gaetz, Trump, Jordan, et al to the bitter end. In the unlikely event any of them are ever convicted for their sex-related crimes it will be because the libs railroaded them, not because they actually did anything wrong.
